Student journalists need updated equipment to continue building their skills. Our one iPad has only 64 GBs total and was purchased in 2012. It doesn't have enough storage to allow students to edit video. Our tripod has been used so much the mechanical parts are wearing out and won't keep the camera upright. We haven't had a working television since 2016. Updating our technology will help my students improve their video editing skills. They are looking forward to using the new tripod to hold their camera, the increased memory of the new iPad to edit video, and the tv to broadcast their videos.
