Greetings! Welcome to my projects! Please support them... It's the best way for me to build resources for my resource room! Yes, I'm a resource room teacher. I work with students from kindergarten through 5th grade who have learning disabilities but are mainstreamed in regular classes. My students have a range of learning styles, but overall they tend to respond to a variety of stimuli - physical (kinesthetic), visual, audio and so on. I try to integrate different ways of learning and to both be practical and flexible in my approaches. I also try to make learning fun! My current proposals include two projects focusing on writing (one for K-2 leaners, the others for 3rd to 5th gradesr), one on basic math skills targeting my younger students and an origami proposal that would reach students beyond my target group, since I'm known as the origami person! Many students visit me at lunch to eat and fold. Read on!
