The children in my class come from all different backgrounds and most come from very low income homes. I think they are just as deserving as any child to have the comfort and supplies as any student in America. The school is a high poverty school and it is a school with a high Hispanic and African American population. I am teaching 2nd grade, and because of this I want to make sure that my students are still able to come together as one and work well with one another. These children are eager and motivated to learn and I want to provide them with the right tools necessary to become the best students they can be!
