First graders love to move! With all the demands placed on them they often do not have a chance to move around throughout the day. I strive to create engaging lessons that incorporate movement and want to allow my students to be responsible for their their own learning. My classroom currently has crate seats, traditional chairs, and carpet squares for children to choose to sit on to complete their work but they need more options! Especially for those students who need movement while working. My goal for my classroom is to create a space that offers flexible seating to all my students. I want the classroom to meet the learning needs of as many students as it can.

About my class
