My students are the ones that the regular school environment did not work for. Many of them have heard over and over that they will never make it. Many are very capable but just need motivation to buy into what they need to become successful. Teaching new material in as many different ways as possible provides an opportunity to grab the attention of more students. Having materials that allow the students to do rather then just hear creates a dynamic learning environment.
