These students are "at risk" 4 years old preschoolers. They enter the classroom at various levels of awareness and knowledge. Some students enter with a firm foundation to build upon and others come with little to no foundation. This classroom is designed to prepare these students with the basic skills to be ready for kindergarten. We strive to use as many hands on materials as possible to make learning fun and applicable to real life situations. As the world of technology grows, the classroom needs to also grow in these materials as well. The incubator will allow the students to see first hand what they see in pictures and read in books. Both items will be great assets to the learning experiences in my classroom.
