My school is located in a very multicultural city, and my 20 kindergarten students come from many different home environments. We are very diverse in socioeconomic backgrounds, racial backgrounds, and parent education backgrounds. Because of this diversity, many of the students are not able to experience higher level technology. Also, many families do not have the time or resources to read daily to their children.
