My students have many challenges facing them. The majority of the families have a low socio economic status. Due to this, my students have limited life experiences and very limited resources available to them. Another challenge that many of my students have is that they’re not fluent in the English language and their parents do not speak English. My students are eager to learn and are very curious about the world around them. I want to give them every opportunity to become lifelong learners.
