I have already planned out where and how these supplies will be used in my classroom! They officially have a "home"! Flexible seating allows my students to choose a spot in the room that is just right for them while working. Students will be able to choose from a variety of seating options when doing independent and group work along, with choosing books from the new bookcase that we are focusing on for our current unit of instruction. By donating to this project, students will be able to choose what learning space works best for them around our room. They will be able to focus on their reading and independent work, which in turn will help our lessons and activities be more effective for all students. The lap desks, wiggle stools, standing desk, and wiggle spots will be extremely beneficial for all students along with being able to be used as alternative seating for students who need to get their wiggles out throughout our day. Letting students make choices to better their learning has been very beneficial for students to gain the confidence to choose what works best for them and to help them succeed.
