Please say hello to an extremely talented group of first graders! They love to learn through singing, dancing, music, and visual arts. They are incredibly curious and eager to learn new things. They are very much "hands on" learners. In our classroom we use learning stations to master different skills in language arts, reading, writing, and math. One of the coolest learning stations I have ever seen is Versa Tiles. The students work at their own pace answering questions and placing the correct tile in the box. When they are finished the close the case, flip it over and see if their picture matches the answer key. If it does they show the teacher the completed the activity and then can do another one but, if it doesn't they can go back and fix their errors. It gives them a chance to be independent but also keeping them accountable for their work. Please help us get a classroom set of Versa Tiles!
