Working as a team is important. We work with an Occupational Therapist and Physical Therapist to help our students access their surroundings. Using the team approach, we work on many skills through play based learning. However, currently we do not have an accessible space for all students to play. By donating to our project, students will have a safe place to play and it can be accessible to all including those with vision impairments and students who use wheel chairs to help with their mobility. The funding of this project will have a big impact on my students. It will help them gain independent play skills while building upon their communication skills with their peers.
