The sewing projects and supplies that I am asking to be donated, provide my students the equipment they need for success! The supplies that I am requesting you to donate are supplies that are above and beyond what my budget can handle. With a variety of projects to choose from my students are able to make a choice on what they would like to spend their time working on. Success comes in a variety of ways. Some students find success in math and reading classes, while others find success when being creative and making items that they can see, feel and even taste. (these are items from the foods and nutrition classes I also teach) Many students would benefit from being able to use their hands in creating a homemade pillow to take home with them. By donating to this project my students will benefit from this hands on learning experience. They will find success and be able to take a sample of their success home with them to look at and use for a long time. It's a pleasure to see the completed projects.
