My students have demonstrated increased engagement when technology is utilized in the classroom. They are more likely to produce a higher quality of work when they share their work with their peers. iPads and headphones will help my students be able to collaborate in their learning with peers, share their work with their peers, and become teachers to their peers! They will use the iPads to research given or self-generated topics, to create iMovies demonstrating their understanding of their research, to use Google Classroom which will help with tailoring instruction to individuals and groups, and to use apps that support reading development.
