Our school was rated the 7th "highest needs elementary school" out of our district's 95 elementary schools for our number of ESL, ECE, free/reduced lunch, mobility, and single parent homes. Our class represents 6 different countries and 5 different languages. Most of our students come from low socio-economic households and struggle for basic necessities. For many of our students, they live in unpredictable, difficult situations, so they bring a lot of challenges with them to school; however, they look forward to coming to school! Our class has become a tight group, where we watch out for one another. Our class is safe and there are lots of adults in this school who care for them.
