My students have many strengths in many areas unfortunately reading is not one of them. For most, their learning disability interferes with their ability to read books at their grade and age level. For the past three years they have been involved in a READ-180 program that is designed to improve their reading and while this program has helped move them slightly they have become discouraged because they are still reading the same books year after year because they have not made enough growth.
