I work at a high poverty, low performing school in the heart of Lafayette, Louisiana. Almost 80% of our school population receive free or reduced price lunch. I teach 18 kindergarten-aged children. Not all of my students are granted access to technology on a daily basis. This is a luxury to many of them. What I can say about them is that they strive to be the best they can be, work hard, and are great children. Their love for learning is what makes me want to reach them in anyway possible on a daily basis.
