Many of my students come from a low-income, high-poverty area and have to face many challenges and struggles before the school day even begins. The teachers and administration in my school try to easy these challenges in many different ways. Most importantly, we build relationships with our kids so they know they are valued, safe, and respected. We strive to make an impact through inquiry, invention, and innovation.
