Color plays a key role in creating an environment that fosters learning. In my classroom, I plan to use the colored paper in a way to help students understand new material. The laminating paper will help to preserve the material to be used more than once. Math Manipulatives will allow the students to use multiple learning styles. Adding more color into the students lives will help to increase their brain power. Fractions and Geometry are not easy topics for my students, so providing them with the hands-on material will provide them with a more concrete learning opportunity. Creating a fun learning environment is what it's all about. Students should want to come to school to see what they can explore next in their education. “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” – Nelson Mandela
