As a Specially Designed Physical Education Teacher it is my responsibility to help students improve and gain new gross motor skills. I service over 50 students ages 3-21 with a wide variety skills and abilities. Many of my students come from low income households and do not access to equipment that would benefit them such as scooters or bicycles. Some of my students have prosthetic limbs and muscular diseases. Having access to equipment like this will help with the development and refinement of their balance in addition to teaching them a lifetime skill they can use and apply that will aide in their mobility.

About my class
