I see 451 students each week. My campus is a primary campus with these three grades, Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and first grade. Building coding skills can begin at any age. Beginning coding can be taught to all age groups, especially Pre-Kinder through first grade. The Scratch games I chose are cards for them to learn the basics of following and discussing directions. Through these activities, basic skills (that some students already know) will become tangible. The Code-a-pillars and Code & Go robot Mouse kits will allow them to transfer the knowledge they have learned with the cards and directional games to programming a robot.

About my class
