My students love to learn and are very motivated students. They love being able to have math and reading incorporated together. Our school is one of moderate poverty, while some of my students have many books at home, others do not have any books to read. The more I can introduce them to literature, even in a mathematics lesson, the better students they will become. My kids love to have applications of the mathematical concepts to make those abstract ideas more concrete.
