Welcome to my 4th & 5th Grade Classroom! My 50 fourth and fifth grade students attend a large, diverse elementary school in the Boston Public School system. My students come from a wide variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Approximately 74% of our school's population is considered low income. Due to BPS budget cuts my students do not have access to the latest educational tools and technology in our classroom. I am in the unique position to "loop" with my students, meaning 25 of my 50 students are fourth graders who will remain in my classroom the following year. They will benefit for two academic years from any donations we are fortunate enough to receive.
