My kindergarten students are a mix of English Language Learners and English speakers. Most of them are from families who have recently immigrated and face socioeconomic challenges. Many of my pupils arrived in September possessing very little English and no preschool background. Despite these challenges, all are beginning to read and write. They are fun, hardworking, and enthusiastic learners. Their families are supportive in every way. Our school works hard to support the needs of all learners, but limited funding affects the district's ability to provide enrichment resources. This document camera will help my students achieve the tremendous potential they all display.

About my class
