Students of my school are from the lower socioeconomic barrier and in need of exposure to STEM. A program such as STEM would broaden their horizons to opportunities that they are currently not exposed to making them better prepared for the world at large. These students are from varying ethnic backgrounds and experiences with varying academic levels in reading and math. Against this background, we are hoping to use this vehicle to enhance their interest into math and science. It is our hope that the resources acquired from Donors Choose will further enhance their interest and transform them into great inventors as well. As part of the teacher team supporting the initiative of piloting a STEM program in our low-income/high poverty school district, where our students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. We are looking to provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experience

About my class
