These educational games will stimulate students' learning and help improve their focus. The critical thinking and word games will enhance vocabulary acquisition and peer interaction. Providing occasional snack incentives and celebrations will encourage motivation and increase success. Students are sedentary and inward-focused during independent reading in my English/Language Arts class, so lessons that involve interaction with peers and use manipulatives will help them shift their thinking and learning to be more active--mentally and physically. They will welcome the opportunity to move around and think in different ways when using these additions to our classroom.
