As research shows, students need to access science content in a variety of modalities. We'll use these headphones on days when we're conducting virtual labs and stations: Imagine a group of kids watching a clip about the reintroduction wolves to Yellowstone Park, while another group reads a text about the varied perspectives of locals, and yet another works with me to analyze data about changes in the population of Elk. The headphones make possible the logistics of lessons that seek to meet the needs of all learners. I dream of a world when students can focus on understanding the scientific challenges of world and not about the unreliable sound quality coming through their headphones
