Northwood School is set in the peaceful woods of northern Wisconsin. This is a small high school with just over 100 students, and these creative artists and writers would like to share their inspired pieces with the community. A senior has begun to collect poems, photos, stories, and other innovations to include in a literary/arts journal called "The Echo". This is a student-driven idea and she and her underclass assistant editors hope to continue this for years to come. "The Echo" would be shared with appreciative students, staff, and parents. Small schools sometimes have limited opportunities for such creative magazines, but with the willingness of the students, Northwood can enjoy its own brand of a literary/arts journal. This project would help foster interest and skill in writing and art, helping students reach their potential in ways not before possible.
