Last year was the first time that I read "The Blood of Emmett Till" with my students. We used this book as an anchor point for our study of the civil rights movement. My students already have to purchase several books for their high school AP courses. I have most of a class set of these books, but next year, I have a larger group of students signed up for the class. I want to be able to study this book with my students without them having to purchase their own copy, creating an equitable learning environment for all of my students.
