"Speak up, you're brilliant." That is what I tell my students everyday in order to inspire them to do their best and share all their ideas. As a sixth grade Communication Arts teacher in inner city St. Louis, there are multiple challenges faced on a daily basis. With a lack of resources being a main concern, specifically access to technology, my students are being denied vital training in skills that are necessary for future success.
