80% of the students qualify for free or reduced lunch and many live in subsidized housing. The students receive breakfast, lunch and backpacks of food for the week-end. They do not have regular access to the public library to read high interest books. We drive a Book Mobile in the summer to the housing project to provide reading material. These books can also be housed in the classroom and Bookmobile.
