Our school is listed as High poverty; Non Title I, which affects all facets of teaching. In the lower grades, we do not have access to much more than a few computers per classroom. I have seen the light in my students' eyes when using a computer. They are intrigued by it and all its uses; however, 99% of them do not access to a computer or phone! I truly believe that my students would be more successful if we had options! An LCD projector would help in SO many ways from teaching students how to use the Internet and different programs to viewing United Streaming! It would be the closest thing to a Smartboard I would get! My students and I would be EXTREMELY THRILLED to receive one!
