Our high school is located in the South Bronx which is a high-need community, where over 90% of our students recieve free or reduced lunch. In essence, our students come from homes with busy parents trying to make ends meet. They do not always have time to prepare nutritious meals. This is where we come in. I have permission from my administators to run a program that is about both nutrition and cooking. This program will be open to all students in our small high school, grades 9 - 12.
