My students are an amazing group of kids from many different backgrounds, who are eager to learn and be at school! They attend a full-day (6 1/2 hour) kindergarten, with a rigorous curriculum. Throughout the year, my students are engaged in all academic areas including reading, writing, math, science, social studies, art, music, and physical education. They came into kindergarten knowing a few basic concepts, and already, just halfway through the year, they know how to read, write, and even solve simple addition and subtraction problems. I'm so very proud of them and the progress they have made so far!
