I have a special relationship with my students. A.P. Calculus is a difficult course and the students really come together and work as a team. In addition to the 90 minutes of class time each day, many of my students come to my room at lunch and again after school to work on their homework and to further prepare for the upcoming A.P. exam. My students are all from financially disadvantaged families. They are all on a Title 1 meal program. Close to 100% of my students will be the first in their family history to attend college. They are extremely kind, friendly, fun loving people. With the right direction and mentoring they will succeed in life.
