My students attend a public school first grade classroom. There are 22 children and approximately 1/4 of my students receive literacy and/or special education reading support. I also have English Language Learners so they need to hear stories being read in English. This might be the only place that they hear the English language so it's imperative to make sure there are resources available. I want every child in my classroom to feel successful, especially in the area of reading. My listening center is one of their favorite places to go and listen to some of our special books. I've started our collection but many of the tapes are old and breaking. I try my best find books on sale however it's just never enough. We need to add to our beginning collection and would love your help.
