My students are predominantly Latino and we are located in a lower socioeconomic neighborhood within the Los Angeles area. Most of my students will be the first in their families to not only go on to college, but to even graduate high school. I am privileged to work with these young people. They are truly amazing kids who are engaged in their learning and take advantage of every opportunity our school is able to afford them. I am proud to work in a public school which has worked incredibly hard to create a culture of love and respect.
