I teach juniors and seniors in a high-need area. Most of their family members have only graduated from high school. Our school has no money for supplies and extra resources. My students face extreme daily challenges from gang violence to teenage pregnancies. They have little to no support systems at home. Often my history lessons are not as exciting and thrilling as their daily lives. You can help inspire my students to not only be high school graduates but also go on to four-year colleges and change their city they came from.
