All of my pre-kindergarten and elementary school students have been diagnosed with a cognitive or emotional disabling condition. Autism Spectrum Disorder, HDHD, Down Syndrome, Anxiety Disorder, Williams Syndrome are just a few of the conditions my students have been diagnosed with. As a result of their disability, they face significant social, communication and behavioral challenges. They also face many intellectual challenges particularly in the are of reading and math. All of my students live in a high poverty and crime area. However, they are not products of their environment.

About my class
