I teach grades K-5 art at Cypress Trails Elementary. We have a diverse population with students coming from over 10 different countries. What unites us all is the language of art. My students will learn about art from other countries and discuss the influences of the culture on art. We will then create paintings that reflect our culture and the times we live in as a method of communication. The focus group for this project is 5th grade.
