These materials will encourage my students to learn how to read independently. Given a new, comfortable seat to explore a good book will start their lifelong journey as avid readers. Many of my students come from backgrounds that are less than ideal. They have difficulty focusing because they are worried about issues no 6 year old should worry about. I am excited to offer kids a variety of seating options to help them focus and spark an excitement to learn to read. Reading comes naturally to many children, but many struggle to grasp all the rules and strategies they need to be successful. Giving them a chair, floor seat, or carpet that will help them with this difficult task Is something I am very excited to explore this year.
