There are many experiments I plan to do with the students. I want to give them a love for learning and exploring. As this is a tough group, the need for high engagement is going to be huge. Part of my plan is for the students to take being a scientist serious. They will learn a ton of information leading up to lab day. On lab days they will get to put on one of these lab coats and wear the safety goggles when needed. This will give the students a sense of pride. You have no idea how much this would mean to many of those kids. You're never too old for dress up and imagine who you want to be!
