I am privileged to teach 18 third grade students. They are eager and excited to learn. My students attend a large public school and many come from low income households. All the students at the school receive free lunch and also qualify for free after-school programs. Many of my students are learning English as a second language. They don't have many opportunities to participate in academically enriching activities outside of my classroom.
