Our DLP classroom this year is home to 11 energetic, curious and very unique young minds! The students in this K-5 classroom all have moderate to severe disabilities with many sensory needs. Our students are always eager to learn more and explore the unknown. They are surrounded by caring/supportive families, dedicated staff, and wonderful schoolmates who all come together to meet their needs and enhance their learning both inside and outside of school. Each student receives individualized instruction and services throughout their school day. Each student's daily schedule includes academics, special services and PE/Music/Art with our general education classes. Sensory breaks are essential to ensure smooth transitions and meaningful lessons. Our entire team (staff and students alike) work closely together to promote success and achievement of their goals.
