Clinton Elementary is a school that is located in a neighborhood that has a lower socio-economic base. Quite often I will have students who do not have books in their home. As a teacher I need to try and provide as much literature for them as possible to help my students become better readers. Using listening centers in my classroom helps me to provide a quality activity for one group of students while working with another group of students. This helps me to diversify my teaching to better meet the needs of my students.
