We have a variety of classroom job boxes. Each job box targets a skill to increase the students' employ-ability. We use these job boxes each day to practice skills that have been previously taught. In order for each student to reach their potential, more varied tasks are required. Repetition is extremely important for my students to retain and maintain targeted skills. Repetition can become boring if the materials are not rotated frequently to increase focus. With a wider variety of job box tasks materials, student interest will be increased. Each job box will provide materials needed to practice sorting, packaging,or assembling different materials. The skills that the students learn increase their ability to obtain and maintain a job as they get older.
