My students are a mixture of different cultures as well as languages. They learn English and develop language sills quickly as they work on hands on projects. Many come from different economic backgrounds and limited experiences in the arts. They often do not get a chance to paint, draw or express themselves creatively. I also have students with special needs. We are quite a mixture but a great combination of first graders.
