I am a teacher in a high-need urban school district in the District of Columbia. I teach in a 5th grade inclusion setting which includes a mixture of general education and special education students. My kids are very resilient and want to succeed in school. While some of my children only need a little nudge where academic support is concerned, others need a massive shove. I would like to help them across the board with some new materials in my classroom that will encourage reading and provide for more differentiated instruction.
