My class consists of 22 active first graders. They are full of energy and they are always excited to learn new things. It's so amazing to see their enthusiasm and effort in their daily work. Our school is located in the central of Los Angeles city where our students are considered low-income. This year all students are receiving free lunch. Our school's test score has been increasing every year; however, the school's resource is very limited. Due to budget cuts this year, we have no librarians. And now the teachers have to serve as a librarian in order to full fill the students' needs. Every week, each student can check out only 2 books!!!
