The multimedia (audio-visual) materials are an integral part of the instructional materials that we use on a daily basis and they are also regarded as main component of language learning materials that support English Language learners with their acquisition of four language skills. First of all, our students need these headsets to be able to use audio-visual language learning materials available in our ESOL classroom. Moreover, we need the headsets for administering the ACCESS for ELLs Online (ACCESS Online), which is a computer-based English Proficiency test. This assessment is given annually to students in Grades 1-12. It tests students' language in four domains: Listening, Reading, Speaking, Writing.
