My students come to us from a rural setting in Lexington, SC. Over half of the students receive free or reduced lunch at school. Overall, my students are hardworking individuals that want to learn. In a class of 21 students, we have huge differences in reading levels and interests. The students like reading, but would benefit from listening to reading to become fluent readers.
